Grilled cheese and hot honey belong together.. facts!
Makes: 2 grilled cheese sandwiches
Ingredients:
50g salted butter (melted)
4 slices good sourdough bread
100g grated cheddar cheese
100g grated mozzarella cheese
WilderBee Original Hot Honey (a good drizzle)
4 rashers smoked streaky bacon
Method:
Mix the grated cheeses together in a bowl.
Fry the bacon until crisp and set aside.
Brush one side of each bread slice with melted butter.
Place two slices butter-side down and layer with cheese mix, a good drizzle of hot honey, and bacon.
Top with remaining bread slices (butter-side up).
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Cook sandwiches 3-4 mins per side until golden and the cheese is melted.
Slice, stretch that cheese, and serve with an extra drizzle of hot honey for dippin’.
